FACEIT London Major Draws 69.4% Of All Twitch Top 10 Channels Watched

When comparing channels on Twitch by total hours watched, those showing the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive FACEIT London Major attracted the most viewers by far. Channels streaming the event last week accounted for 69 percent of all hours watched among the top 10 most viewed channels.

Faceittv clocked a staggering 10.6 million hours watched last week. The next most viewed channel, Starladder5, had just 2.7 million hours. RiotGames channel finished the week nearly as hight at 2.5 million hours, followed by PlayOverwatch and RocketLeague, both at less than one million.

The FACEIT London Major streamed on 11 regional broadcasts on Twitch, amassing a total of 14.4 million hours. Nearly two-thirds of the viewing audience tuned into the English language streams while just under 20 percent watched in Russian.

The tournament peaked on Twitch with a mas concurrent viewership (CCV) of  331,500 during Sunday's match between Ninjas in Pyjamas and MiBR. The channels are almost guaranteed to top the Twitch charts again next week with the Grand Finals weekend underway.

League of Legends did well to break the one-million-hours mark last week and was the only game other than Counter-Strike to do so. The publisher's official channel was broadcasting the regional qualifiers for the World Championship along with the EU Masters Summer Season Play-In.

Aside from the aforementioned tournaments, there was not much major competition on the esports scene last week. Bringing up the bottom of the list was the CapcomFighters channel, which is slated to stream the European Regional Finals for the Capcom Pro Tour this weekend.
