Wrap those fists because The Cage doors are open
It’s High Stakes Wednesday and it doesn’t get any more intense than this. If you can’t decide between dominating the tournament schedule and grinding the cash tables for a serious win, why not combine both by entering The Cage at 7pm ET.
The Cage is Americas Cardroom’s time-based cash game in tourney format. For your $1,000+50 buy-in, you get $1,000 in chips, with each worth $1.
You’ve got five hours to do as much damage as you can at the tables while blinds and antes go up with each level. You can’t buy back in, so once you bust out it’s game over. No re-buys, add-ons, or re-entries for this one.
Sounds a bit like a tourney, except that instead of playing down to an eventual winner, we play down to a running clock. When the five hours are up, it’s game over. If you’re still standing, you get paid for whatever chips you’re holding, dollar for dollar.
Because it’s time-based, The Cage often sees several of the top finishers walk away with extremely similar prize pools, often within a few dozen or hundred dollars of one another (we’ve seen the top three or four players walk away with prizes like $5,560, $5,420, $5,390).
You can find out everything you need to know about The Cage on our Promotions page. And if you really love it, consider joining us in San Jose, Costa Rica this July for The Live Cage. You can win your $8,000 package this Sunday at 6pm ET in the $50+5 Beast and Sit & Crush Live Cage satellite.
