Monero: deVere adds support for Monero

deVere Group continues to expand its trading portfolio and is now offering Monero (XMR) among its cryptocurrency options.  It has also included support for the altcoin Stellar Lumens (XLM).  In total, deVere now offers investors the ability to trade in seven major cryptocurrencies – Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC), Dash (DASH) and the two newest entries.

deVere founder and CEO Nigel Green said of the expansion, "We’ve further expanded our offering on deVere Crypto to include Stellar and Monero due to clients demanding an even more extensive crypto portfolio."  He added that there has been an explosion of consumer interest in investing in crymoteptocurrencies, fueled by their entry into mainstream transactions.  Green added, "Both retail and institutional investors are finding it increasingly hard to ignore the potential opportunities of cryptocurrencies."

Green points to four key points that are driving the investment expansion.  The first is a growing appreciation for, and understanding of, a global currency.  Secondly, cryptocurrency adoption by some of the world’s leading financial institutions and tech providers is growing, attracting everyday investors.  The third reason is due to investor confidence in light of the fact that cryptocurrency regulations are on the horizon. Lastly, with improved technology behind the coins, transactions are becoming more user-friendly and less complex.

In choosing XMR and XLM, Green explained, "Those cryptocurrencies that have made it onto the deVere Crypto app have been painstakingly analyzed and evaluated by the deVere Crypto Research Department, run by 10 of the world’s leading blockchain and crypto experts."  He points out that each of the coins in the company’s offerings provides different strengths and values, appealing to a wide range of investors.
