Card Player Poker Tour returns to the Bicycle in July
The Bicycle Hotel and Casino in Los Angeles, CA is always a favorite stop for the Card Player Poker Tour (CPPT). This year will be no different, as the popular tournament series makes a return from July 1 – 14. Whether you’re looking to break into tournament action or are already a seasoned professional, there will be something for everyone.
On July 1, players can take advantage of several NLHE tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $60 to $115, including add-ons for just a little more if the first round doesn’t go too well. A $150 buy-in Deepstack event with a $30,000 guarantee will play out on July 7 followed by an NLHE Survivor tournament later the same day. A Quantum reload tournament will run from July 1 – 8 and offers a guarantee of $500,000.
The Bicycle just went through a $50-million upgrade and expansion. It now offers 99 rooms, its own Bike Brewery, a full spa and private cabanas across its 117,907-square-foot space.
Last year, the CPPT made two stops at the Bicycle, both of which turned out to be huge successes. The casino has also been the home to World Poker Tour and World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournaments. This past March, it held a WSOP circuit event that awarded over $400,000 in prizes.
