Harman Wins Audio/Visual Contract for Las Vegas Esports Arena

Esports Arena Las Vegas opened last week, unveiling a custom audio/visual setup never before seen. The arena’s JBL Professional loudspeakers, Crown brand amplifiers, BSS processors, and Martin lighting are all part of an exclusive partnership with Harman Professional Solutions.
Harman won the exclusive contract to outfit the 30,000-square-foot multi-level arena. The task was challenging due to the unique demands of the emerging esports industry. Never before has a sporting arena been based entirely on its ability to deliver an audio-visual experience.
Harmon developed custom audio, lighting, and control solutions for all areas of the venue, including its telescopic seating, daily gaming stations, bars, and streaming production studios. Harmon also set the sound and feel of The Dome, an interactive gaming area with virtual reality. The systems push tech to the limit in creating immersive experiences.
The use of elite, professional-level audio/visual equipment throughout the arena creates an immersive experience that raises the bar for esports venues. At the opening ceremony, Harmon had the opportunity to showcase the arena’s production quality and interactive features, along with their advanced audio/visual control system.
Around two dozen professional esports players and 500 local gaming influencers attended the opening ceremony. Harman’s esports business development leader, Nicholas Cohen, said the new arena will set the standard for audio performance in esports.
Cohen told the crowd that Esports Arena Las Vegas is only the first collaboration between Harman and Allied Esports, and the two companies plan to expand their partnership for into additional markets around the world.
