Bryn Kenney signs with GGPoker
Following a successful run in 2017 that saw plenty of first and second-place finishes, Bryn Kenney was awarded the Global Poker Index (GPI) Player of the Year award. The New York poker pro has earned over $21 million in live action, including a first-place win at the PokerStars Championship for just shy of $2 million. He is also a WSOP bracelet winner that came in 2014 when he took down the WSOP 10-Game Mix Six-Handed tournament. Now, the 31-year-old has signed on to be an ambassador for GGpoker, the online poker site out of Asia.
In an interview with poker site PokerNews.com, Kenney said, "I met the GGPoker team through my friend Kitty Kuo, who is a sponsored player on one of their partner sites on the network. I really liked the team and hit it off with them and soon after, they made me an offer." GGPoker is the largest poker network in Asia, and operates its own Twitch channel where viewers can catch most of the action by the site's partners.
Keeney will use his talents, and fame, to attract new players to the site. He will also help to improve the player experience, making himself available to the community to answer questions and receive feedback. This Sunday a $2,500 "Welcome Bryn!" freeroll will be held for all players eligible to play on the site.
