MGM National Harbor Hosts Casino Night for Washington Caps
Washington Caps fans will have the chance to bid on game-worn jerseys, win an autograph, and play poker at the team’s Casino Night on January 4. The event is hosted by MGM National Harbor, and 100 percent of the proceeds go to support good causes like youth education, health, and sports.
The Capitals Casino Night gives fans a chance to gambling with their favorite sports stars, including blackjack, craps, and poker. The event presents a unique opportunity for fans to pick up Caps memorabilia, with once-in-a-lifetime items available in a silent auction.
A few of the items that will be available at the auction include game-worn jerseys, player-used sticks and skates, pucks signed by the entire team, and special gifts the team awarded to the best player of each game. There will also be experiences up for auction, including a chance to participate in the 2017-18 team photo.
MVP tickets to the event are priced at $250. The $450 VIP tickets, which include early entry and an hour-long exclusive opportunity to mingle with the team, are already sold out. Alternatively, auction-only tickets are available for $20.The ticket price includes food, drinks, and access to the casino games with the Washington Caps players.
The proceeds go to benefit Monumental Sports and Entertainment Foundation, a multi-faceted foundation that helps youth in a wide range of areas from hunger and homelessness to sports teams. It provides youth engagement in the community through basketball, football, and hockey, scholarships for education, pediatric health funding, and assistance to military and veterans’ affairs.
