Wynn Win and the tide of online poker
There is still un certainty concerning the shape of what US online poker will take but there is just a fickle of a preview of things to come as the tide of US lawmakers seem to be changing in the favor of online poker. The CEO of Caesars Gary Loveman has said its inevitable that change will take place. The Senator Harry Reid has said that its going to “get done.”
There are many who are hedging their bets on this which includes the mega poker sites of Merge Network and the re opening of their network to US players. All of these signs certainly point to a regulated form of online poker in the next few months or years. You can possibly even figure it could be by the end of this year. Texas Poker
This is probably because there needs to be an input of $250 gazillion into the tax revenue stream right now but this is still something which has yet to be ascertained. Poker is still a game of skill and so you cannot just win or say that it will take a particular direction.
Now if you’re thinking of the new shape of online poker in the U.S. there are rumors that bwin.Party has agreed with Wynn Casino to launch some sort of a giant joint venture. But when you mention Steve Wynn in the same breath as Poker it is always good for business.
The stocks for bwin.Party have gone up just because of this rumor circulating with actual evidence being absolutely zero surrounding this. When the scales turn to the yes side of the boarder for Wynn and online poker his aura alone will be enough to change some of the tide but people are willing to still put in some money on a potential rumor. But when this actually happens is still left to be seen and while some are expecting an announcement soon chances are that it will take some time for it to materialize. If anything we may have to wait till the end of month or the year for a formal announcement concerning this and even then we doubt that things will be clear as to what role Wynn will be playing in all this.
