The Main Event of the Epic Poker League is now in the books with Chino Rheem emerging as the biggest winner at the $1 million first place prize table. In order to win it seemed as though the near super human Rheem could conquer everything including the toughest table in the finals table history. Internet Poker 

When the final table finally started there were six of the best poker players in the world seated around in contention for the big title. Rheem was then joined by Jason Mercier, Erik Seidel, Gavin Smith and Huck seed. Around ten hours of play after the first hand was played all the five players had been eliminated with only Rheem left standing.

The first player to hit the rail was Seed who has started off the final table with a rather short stack. Seed had nearly 900,000 and had all his chips in the preflop against Jason Mercier. He was holding a jack pair against an ace pair of Mercier with his tournament at risk. The preflop gave up a king of spades, a six of spades and a seven of clubs as Mercier hit the rail and was seen letting out a rather loud roar. This was then followed by a long and repeated “yeahhpp” and the a few “yups” from Vanessa Selbst, Brent Hanks and Dan O’Brien and others. There was no help from Saeed who got the eight of diamonds as the turn and a two of diamonds as the river.

He was then followed by smith who was in fifth place and the start of the day leader Habib was in forth. On the elimination hand from Smith Mercier had raised 60,000 from under the gun and Seidel was flatted and then the play folded over to Smith from the big blind. He then reraised all in four 600,000. Later Mercier returned for a reraise of his own kind and then shoved his whole stack into the middle. Seidel decided to get out of the way and folded. Play Poker

The flop and the two other river and turn cards looked like this : a kind of diamonds a queen of diamonds a five of hearts a six of hearts and a four of diamonds. This ended up with smith hitting the rail.
